How does ski boot fitting work?
No matter what brand or fitting system – the basic technique for ski boot fitting is always the same. First, the outer shell of your ski boot is warmed up. With the already fitted inner boot, you step into the warm shell and stay there for a few minutes so that the shoe can perfectly adapt to your foot shape. After the cooling phase, your ski boot retains exactly this shape – and you enjoy the perfect fit.
Atomic Memory Fit and Salomon Custom Fit
More comfort for you with your perfectly fitting shoe
In just a few minutes, the ski boot will be individually adapted to the shape of your foot:
1. Heating
Remove the inner shoe and place the shell in the Atomic Memory Fit oven for five minutes at the preset temperature of 117°C.
2. Molding
Take the shell out of the oven, insert the inner shoe, and step into the warmed boot. Close the buckles at a loose setting. Stand still for two minutes to allow the boot to adapt and mold to the shape of your foot.
3. Hardening
Wrap the Memory Fit Cooling Pack around the boot and cool the boot for five minutes to complete the individual Memory Fit.
